Requesting Treatment

The STTAR Center provides trauma-focused psychotherapy to victims of child abuse, sexual assault, violent crime, accidents and other kinds of psychological trauma.

We primarily serve those who live or work in Howard County.  If you don’t live or work in Howard County, click on Hotlines or Links for help in your area.

We participate with the following insurance networks:  AETNA, Carefirst BCBS and most other BCBS plans, Medical Assistance, MAMSI, MDIPA, Medicare, Multiplan, OneNet PPO, Optimum Choice, Private Healthcare Systems (also known as PHCS) and United Behavioral Health.  We are an approved non-network Tricare provider.  Other insurances may be accepted.

Prior to your first visit, we will verify your insurance benefits and provide a written estimate of your co-insurance.

A sliding fee scale is available to those who qualify and provide necessary documentation.

Our clinic hours are Monday through Wednesday from 10 am to 7 pm.  
Thursday we are open from 10am to 5pm.
